If your visit is due to an emergency, we may modify the following process, but in general, you can expect:
The moment you step inside our office, we’ll be here to welcome you! Our front office staff loves building close relationships with our patients, and we are excited to get to know you in order to properly meet your needs.
Next comes your consultation. During this stage, you’ll get to know Dr. Bastacky and be able to share more about what brought you to us. We encourage you to bring notes of your symptoms or existing imaging of the problem area so you can provide a complete picture of your concerns with our team. We’ll educate you on the dental issue you present as well as the treatment options we have available.
Bastacky will then discuss your medical history. This may include a recent hospitalization or surgery and any relevant diagnoses you’ve received. This is also a good time to discuss your current list of medications as well as any allergies you have. If you have any current conditions including diabetes or high blood pressure, make sure to discuss this during your visit. Dr. Bastacky is uniquely qualified to treat patients with pre-existing conditions and will customize your treatment plan to meet your needs.
After discussing your health in general, we’ll need to examine the area in need of treatment ourselves. This will include an examination and possibly diagnostic tests. We commonly require x-rays or CT scans of the area so if these have already been captured by another doctor, please send them to our office before your visit.
Dr. Bastacky will consider the diagnostic results, scans, and examination before recommending a customized treatment plan. We know this can be a confusing time which is why our doctor will walk you through each step of the recommended treatment plan as well as what you can expect throughout the process. We’ll be sure to answer any questions you have before you leave. We encourage you to call our office if you have additional questions before your next appointment.
Before the end of your visit, we’ll schedule your next appointment and review pre-op instructions to ensure you’re prepared before you arrive. This may include instructions on how to prepare for anesthesia as well as how to have a successful recovery after treatment.
Our team wants to ensure that all our patients can afford to have the qualified care they need to live a functional and confident life. We’ve acquired the medical and dental training as well as the advanced technology to offer trusted and expert care and an experience unlike many others. With this complete care we’ve also included consideration for your finances. During your first visit, we’ll review ways for you to pay for treatment and may be able to offer solutions for affordable monthly payments. Don’t let the fear of treatment, or cost considerations, keep you from the life you deserve. Learn how you can make it possible during your first visit with our team!
